This course introduces farmers and informal sector workers to the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in agriculture and beyond. Through nine engaging modules, participants will explore the fundamentals of AI, discover its applications in daily tasks, and learn about generative AI and its use in farming. The course emphasises practical tools, data collection, market analysis, and ethical considerations, empowering participants to integrate AI into their farming practices for improved productivity and sustainability. It also offers actionable tips for AI adoption and connects participants to valuable support and resources.

Target audience

  • This course is designed for Farmers and Agricultural Workers, Field Trainers, and other informal sector workers.
  • This course is also ideal for women and youth with little to no prior experience with AI but who are eager to embrace digital tools and techniques to transform their farming and work practices.
